Belt Exam
The Belt Exam will be held during your normal class time at your regular class location. Participation for this exam is by *invitation only*. Students who are taking the exam should show up to class early to stretch and prepare for testing. All participants should wear complete black uniform to class and bring complete set of sparring equipment if applicable. As always, we encourage parents to use video recording devices and cameras during the exam.
You will need to complete the online registration form that asks for basic information such as current belt and the belt that your son/daughter is testing for at the exam. Students must be registered online at least 2-weeks prior to their belt exam if they wish to test on the day of the exam.
*Refund Policy* Refunds are not issued for belt exams. Coaches and staff order items based on the number of registered participants.
Re-Scheduling a Belt Exam: Instructors schedule belt exams individually based on the class and may perform make ups based on factors such as the number of children in the class, the number of make-ups necessary, and many other factors. Re-scheduling belt exams must be disucssed with the coach in class if parents are present. If not, coaches will speak to the class regarding make ups. Kaizen Karate office staff is not able to schedule make up belt exams.
